Weight loss plan!
Sunday, November 4, 2012

HEY HEY HEY!!

So I'm back after some reasearching and here's what i found!
Healthy Eating Habits
1.       Develop a healthy and personalized meal plan.
2.       Plan your meals in advance.
3.       Determine your daily calorie needs.
4.       Keep a food diary.
5.       Identify your food triggers and plan accordingly.
6.       Watch your portion sizes.
7.       Don’t skip meals.
8.       Select smart substitutes for unhealthy sources of fat, sugar, and calories.
9.       Snack smartly.
10.   Sip on low-calorie 100% fruit juice, seltzer, or water instead of soft drinks, energy drinks, flavored coffees, and martinis.
11.   Choose lean meats.
12.   Replace high-calorie side dishes with healthier alternatives.
13.   Drinking water instead of soda, coffee, alcohol, juice, or milk may help you cut hundreds of calories per day.
14.   Avoid tempting grocery aisles.
15.   Prepare your meals at home instead of buying fast food.

Exercise More
1.       Make time for exercise.
2.       Be realistic about the type of exercise you can do when starting a new program.
3.       Adopt a targeted exercise program.
4.       Variety in an exercise regimen is especially important, and can help both those who have reached a weight plateau and those who are just beginning the weight loss process stick with it.
5.       Choose workouts that require your entire body to exert an effort.
6.       Perform low impact aerobic activities.
7.       Pump some iron.
8.       Make exercise enjoyable.
9.       Get enough rest.

MORE TIPS
1.       Know what being hungry feels like.
2.       When you're eating a meal, stop when you're satisfied, not when you're full.
3.       Eat only when you're hungry.
4.       Realize that in general, your portion sizes are probably too big.
5.       It's how much you eat, not how many meals you make out of it.
6.       Eat breakfast every day.
7.       Exercise
8.       Don't get suckered in by "low fat" or "no carb" diets.
9.       Keep in mind that sweets aren't the only things that taste good.
10.   Don't fantasize about food.
11.   Don't waste calories on drinks.
12.   Eat slowly.
13.   Save your sweet-eating opportunities.
14.   Change from eating whenever you can and exercising only when you must' to 'eating only when you must and exercising whenever you can.'
15.   Choose an appetizer instead.
16.   Drink lots of water every day. This is very important.

Yea, so I'm really inspired by this and I'll see what I'll do.... hmmmmm...

  • FOOD: it's all about self-control and eating less and choosing healtier choices
  • EXERCISE: at the very least 3/4 times per week!!
I think the food part is still okay. but it's the exercise part that always sucks! it's not that i don't want to, but i'm darn lazy!!! and i'm scared to go alone! >< hais.
MUST PLUCK MY COURAGE AND GO AND RUN RUN RUN!!
